Explain it better. These laws always run into trouble, it seems. Point out that they’re also for STAFF pay raises, and talk about what the money is for and what congresspeople spend their salaries on.

This article is interesting for its mere existence. (Caveat: I don’t know anything about this source.) Ride-share drivers are not making a ton of money, but, according to this article, it’s possible to have some kind of income if you drive a used minivan.
(I wonder what tools the drivers have to make their lives better. I guess Uber/Lyft have a lock on the data, but do they, really?)
