«O’Rourke said he has held more than 130 town halls like this and answered more than 700 questions from voters, but he got his first one about ranked-choice voting during the Lakeville event.

He said he would have to do some more thinking about the question, and instead turned to talking about voting rights, saying that laws should be passed to ensure voting rights rather than take them away. He advocated for same-day voter registration, ending partisan gerrymandering and getting special interest money out of political campaigns.»
