This is the world we live in now. Uproxx, Upworthy, Attn:, stuff like this (not to mention all the right-wing dreck) are all just trying to push ads, because that’s their revenue stream. So they want content that’ll get you worked up, so you keep coming back. Nothing changes, over the centuries.
