Musk’s Twitter mentions are full of people celebrating the wisdom of the crowd, and offering to moderate his new site. All this has a very 1990s feel about it, which is, I guess, appropriate.

The money is raised mostly through “love flash mobs,” which are fundraisers that only last a few hours and are capped at $25 per donor.
The language is a little florid, but I think this is legit.
