Ok, also, he was arrested wrongfully in 2002 and the charges were dropped at the request of law enforcement, with an apology:

Hmm. Graham’s already been re-elected. He’s good for six more years. Why is he doing this? Under the assumption that a politician is a finely-tuned instrument for picking up on the spirit of the people, I guess this means the Trump effect is going to continue long after the election.
