Somebody somewhere made a comment that coronavirus was spread by the wealthy who insisted on flying to China and Milan. Pretty sure anybody who’s played Plague knows that’s hogwash. This animation shows a SINGLE DAY of air traffic around the world in 2008. Pretty sure this is mostly business traffic. I doubt it’s decreased since then.

«On an average day, there are roughly 90,000 commercial flights around the world. This stunning animated map displays them all in 4 seconds.»

(Yes, I know the NY Times did a story on this, too, a day or two ago.)
